(Guests are required to have a HSHMC form signed by their high school principal and by HSHMC principal, Sheri North, in order to attend. As this is a high school dance, only current high school students are admitted.)

HSHMC COMMUNICATIONS

Communications between schools and families is crucial to the success of students. Whenever we mail home information to families, we will make this information available from this website as well.

We also invite you to contact us at any time with questions, concerns, and suggestions.

We will be providing general information and announcements to parents/guardians via email. If you would like to receive our emails, please be sure that you include your email address on your student's registration form. You may also provide your email to us at any time by emailing mail@hshsmc.org.

We encourage you to communicate with your child's instructors. They can be accessed through e-mail (see Staff page for hotlinks to each Faculty and Staff member) or by phone at 619-528-9070.

Please Don't Forget to Report an Absence

Please remember to call the school at 619-528-9070 as soon as you know your child is going to be absent for the day. You may also leave a message during non-school hours. Remember: regular and punctual attendance is an important factor in determining the achievement and success of students. Absences can affect a student's ability to fully learn the content presented in their classes. And, of course at HSHMC, we miss students very much when they are not on our campus.

In order to promote deep understandings, HSHMC's curriculum is organized into big ideas and essential questions. Each teacher addresses discipline-specific standards in a way that ensures students understand the purpose of the standards and their applications to real human issues. The second essential question of the 2009-10 school year is: CAN YOU BUY YOUR WAY TO HAPPINESS.
