As a reminder, Sharp HealthCare will be on campus tomorrow, September 10 to administer free TB tests and flu shots required for students enrolled in a hospital internship. If you have not already returned the permission form sent home with your child please download the forms from our website and send them with your child tomorrow. No student will be given the required shots without parent permission.

You will be receiving information in the mail this week with your ID and Password so that you can monitor your child's academic progress from home (or anywhere with internet availability) through our PowerSchool parent web portal. PowerSchool is available 24/7 and can be accessed from the parent link on our website. If you need any help setting up your account, please call us and we will help.

It was great seeing so many of you at our welcome back family dinner last week. If we missed you, don't worry, there will be lots of upcoming opportunities to get involved. HSHMC values parent engagement and invites you to participate. To begin, please consider joining our 2019-2020 Parent Advisory Committee and connect with other HSHMC families who help plan school activities and participate in governance decisions. Our first planning meeting for this year is this Thursday, September 12 at 5:30 pm. Snacks will be provided

And, if you are new HSHMC family, or just want to come learn more about what goes on at the school for both you and your student, please join us on Thursday, September 19 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm for our Parent Academy – The FAQ's of HSHMC (for parents by parents). We promise you will leave with lots of helpful information while also having fun and meeting other HSHMC families. Dinner will be served so please RSVP below if you plan to attend this event.
